Woman's Christmas Display Got An Angry Note From Her Neighbor, So She Responded In The Best Way

The common themes and decorations used around Christmas are often repetitive. Every house has the same lights, the same Santas, and the same reindeer.

But not Diana Rowland. She decided to do something completely different, but now her neighbors think she's part of a demonic cult.

How did this all happen? Well, it all started when she chose to display a set of large inflatable dragons on her yard for the holidays.

It's her yard, so she figured it shouldn't matter what she chooses to decorate with, but her neighbors thought otherwise.

She received a nasty note that she shared on Facebook, revealing that her neighbors were not a fan of her choice of decor.

"Your dragon display is only marginally acceptable at Halloween.

It is totally inappropriate at Christmas.

It makes your neighbors wonder if you are involved in a demonic cult.

Please consider removing the dragons.

May God bless you and help you to know the true meaning of Christmas."

Given the post that Rowland made with the note, I don't think she's going to be removing it anytime soon. She wrote "Our dragon holiday display got fan mail! (And apparently the "true meaning of Christmas involves judgmental bulls**t?) I'm also not sure I understand how the dragons are only marginally acceptable at Halloween. I guess they think I need MORE dragons??"

The post went viral and soon after sharing it she received thousands of shares and hundreds of comments from people suggesting she add to her collection of dragons.

But Rowland wasn't going to ignore her neighbors, at least not completely. She decided to add a little bit of "festive" decorations to her dragons.

"In the spirit of neighborhood harmony," Rowland wrote with an updated picture, "I have placed halos on the dragons. They are now angels. Ezekial 1:1-28. I'll fight anyone who says different."

As the days went on, the dragon display got even more impressive, with added dragons wearing Santa hats!

Rowland has found herself a few fans online, but it's all about the holiday spirit. Her Christmas dragons are fun and if that's how she wants to decorate, I don't see the problem.

What do you think of her Christmas display? Is it fun and silly, or does it go against the "true meaning of Christmas"?
