Ingredients
Crust
- 20 double stuffed oreos
- 5 tablespoons of butter melted
Chocolate Filling
- 1 pkg (8 oz) of cream cheese
- 1 1/4 cups Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread)
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup whipped cream
Mint Filling
- 1/2 pkg (4 oz) of cream cheese
- 15 white Oreo centers (save the outside cookie layer)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 3/4 cup whipped cream
- Food coloring (optional. This looks great white too)
Cookie Layer
- Oreo outsides (from earlier when you separated the centers)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. For the crust, blend the 20 Oreos in a food processor. Add the melted butter and mix well.

Press into a 9 inch pie plate and bake for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.

While the crust sets, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar and Nutella until creamy and set aside.

Beat the whipping cream to form stiff peaks and then fold this into the Nutella mix to make your chocolate layer.

Scoop about 5 heaping tablespoons onto the crust and smooth with the back of a spoon. Put this in the fridge to chill while you make your mint layer.

Separate 15 Oreos and put the centers into a large mixing bowl (keep the outsides for layering in the pie).

Add the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Mix in the peppermint extract and set aside.

Beat the second amount of whipping cream to form stiff peaks then fold this into the mixture. If you want to color this layer add the food coloring. (We prefer gel coloring but liquid will work too.) Remove the pie from the fridge and spread a thin layer of the mint on top of the chocolate layer.

Put the 1/2 cup of cream in a small mixing bowl and add the 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract. Dunk the outsides of the Oreo cookies in the mix a let them soak the cream in for a few seconds. Allow the cream to drip off each cookie and place them over the mint layer until the pie is covered. You might need to break some of the cookies to make them all fit. Cover the pie as best you can.

Spread on another chocolate layer and chill the pie again for about 10 minutes. Add another mint layer. Crush up the remaining Oreo outsides and finish the pie by topping it off with the crumbs.

Cover the pie and chill it overnight. The Oreo layer in the middle will soak up the cream and soften. The texture of the pie will be similar to a dense mousse. Make sure you let this pie chill long enough or the layers will be too soft and can run together. This is thee perfect dessert to make a day or two ahead of time. it will be great in the fridge for up to a week.
