The holidays are coming and you might need to think of a clever new appetizer for your guests. This tomato jam is so delicious and unlike anything you've ever tried before.

- 2 cups cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup shallots, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup garlic
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup butter
- Fresh tarragon, to taste
- Cinnamon, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
In a saute pan, use 2 tbsp of butter and sweat the garlic with the shallots until tender.
Stir in the halved tomatoes and let simmer.
Pour in the red wine, the cider vinegar, and mix it in.
Add the brown sugar and continue to cook until the consistency becomes thick and sticky.
Add fresh tarragon and a little bit of cinnamon, an stir together.
Serve with crackers or bread and you will have the most amazing appetizer at the party!
