Stan Lee's passing earlier this week has proven to have affected millions around the world. Whether it's the people who worked directly with Lee, or the fans who followed his work, the loss of comic book writer and Marvel icon has been hard to take.

But there is one thing that all of his fans can agree on, Lee wouldn't want us all to be spending our time mourning, he would much rather have his life and his work be celebrated in a positive way.

Lee has managed to make himself a household name, even though it's not all that common for comic book creators to do so. His cameos in all the Marvel movies obviously help, but it's his presence and devotion to his fans that truly make him a real star.

As a dedication to him, his Twitter page just released a video that showed Lee being interviewed, and he talked about what he loves more than anything: His fans. The final candid message from Lee to his fans shows that it was an "equal love-fest."

"I love my fans. I cannot tell you how much I love my fans. Sometimes at night, I'm sitting here, and I'm thinking, 'What's it all about?' you know? And then I get a letter from a fan, or I read something, or I see something, or I remember something, and I realize it's so lucky to have fans who really care about you. And that's the reason I care so much about the fans, because they make me feel so great.

He continued on to talk about how remarkable it is that his work reaches across the world, and how terrific it is that these people can connect with him.

"There's something, if you think about it, that is wonderful about somebody caring about you as I care about them, who you've never met, who may live in another part of the world. But they care, and you have something in common, and occasionally you contact each other. This business of fans, I think is terrific, and I love 'em all."

Stan Lee passed away on November 12th, 2018, at the age of 95, but he will not be forgotten.
