Half the fun of Halloween is dressing up and enjoying free candy.
The other half is enjoying the ridiculously detailed costumes your favorite celebrities can afford, especially daytime TV hosts.
It seems like these shows try to outdo each other every year, and 2018 featured some very impressive costumes from TV's biggest stars:
Ellen Channels The Bachelor
Of course the reigning queen of daytime TV had a great Halloween surprise planned, strutting out of a limo in a wig, a glittery dress, and a silicone chest to woo her "bachelor," Milo Ventimiglia.
The talk show host recreated all of the show's best moments, including a tearful departure in her limo while Rebel Wilson joined Ventimiglia in the fantasy suite.
The View Gets Spooky
While The View hosts are known for getting serious about Hot Topics, they were all smiles as they showed off their Halloween costumes. Of course, a few found a way to give their outfits a playful political spin.
Joy Behar channeled Arnold Schwarzenegger as "The MidTerminator" and joked that Democrats "will be back!"
Sunny Holstin dressed up as Okoye, the female warrior from the film Black Panther.
Whoopi Goldberg was Vampirina, from the Disney Junio children's show.
And Meghan McCain was Elsa from Disney's Frozen.
Meanwhile, host Abby Huntsman wore not one, not two, but three different costumes, each a different take on Lady Gaga's famous outfits.
Married With Pickler and Ben
Daytime hosts Kellie Pickler and Ben Aaron pulled off an impressive tribute to Married With Children, right down to the couch.
Kelly And Ryan's ReBOOts
Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest make a tradition of dressing up in multiple costumes each Halloween, and they didn't disappoint fans this year.
They unleashed their modern TV ReBOOts of classic shows, including I Dream of Jeannie, Saved by the Bell, and Friends.
Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos, even stopped by, and the couple returned to their roles from All My Children for a special skit with Susan Lucci.
They were even joined by the American Idol judges - Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan - disguised as some "party animals."
Wendy Williams Isn't Bad, She's Just Drawn That Way
The talk show host got all done up as Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
The Talk Hosts Get Musical
Each host from The Talk picked a musical icons for the show's annual Halloween lip sync challenge.
Sharon was Dolly Parton, Eve was Janet Jackson, Sara was Pink, and Sheryl was one of the Weather Girls.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! This year, we're turning it up for the biggest Rocktober Lip Sync War EVER! Good Morning America's Halloween Throwback
The country's two biggest morning new shows both picked '80s themes for their group costumes this year.
Among other awesome costumes, Amy dressed up as Peggy from Married with Children.
George was Alex P. Keaton from Family Ties.
Ginger Zee was the Ninja Turtle Michelangelo.
Lara was Captain Stubing from The Love Boat.
Michael was Mr. T.
Rob was Zack from Saved by the Bell.
And Robin was Dominique Deveraux from Dynasty.
Today Turned Back The Clock Too
Competing with GMA for the title of "most awesome Halloween costumes" was Today, where the hosts also traveled back in time.
You can check out a full list of their costumes with side-by-side photos here. But Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer's team costume as Doc Brown and Marty from Back to the Future is a standout.
